Clean-up at Raymore Park & Humber River banks

June 30th

About 20 participants including neighbourhood residents eagerly joined in a clean-up of Raymore Park and Humber River banks. Plastic and other debris were collected along the east and west shore of the Humber River between Eglinton and Lawrence. Particular attention was paid to removing garbage that obscured a nearby Heritage Plaque commemorating those Raymore Drive residents who died during Hurricane Hazel in October 1954. The Toronto Bell Cote Heritage Preservation committee would like to express its appreciation to those who helped to beautify the Etobicoke landscape.
